Workshop of Wonders: Imagine and Build with God!

Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church invites all children ages 2 – 12 to experience the  WORKSHOP OF WONDERS (WOW) Vacation Bible School. Discover how to imagine and build with God at VBS!

The fun begins Monday, August 4 and ends Friday, August 8 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at John Boggs Hall, 152 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Road.

At WOW VBS, discover how the ordinary becomes extraordinary with God. Experience the love of Jesus. Start an adventure. Use your imagination and creativity to build your faith. Meet people from the Bible who used what they had to produce something amazing with God. Use your heart, mind, and imagination to participate in the creative life of God, the one who works wonders!

The adventures include interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games, and tasty food. To be a part of all the excitement at WORKSHOP OF WONDERS, come to the John Boggs Hall at 5:45 pm on Monday, August 4.

UMW hosts Deaconess Sue Zahorbenski – September 20

Our Guest Speaker is Deaconess Sue Zahorbenski.  She will be sharing her journey to the International Celebration of Deaconess – 125th Year in Berlin, Germany and her visit to The Evangelical Monastery of St Augustine’s in Erfurt known as (Evangelisches Augustinerkloster zu Erfurt) in German.
