We welcome Wiliam Hess as our Pastor for Sunday, July 12, 2015. Bill is now a “retired” Pastor after 34 years at Heislerville Memorial United Methodist Church and Dorchester United Methodist Church. Presently, he has a summer appointment at Swainton-Asbury.

PORT ELIZABETH OLD HOME DAY – Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 142 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Road, will celebrate its 230th anniversary on Old Home Day, Sunday, June 7.
Join us for a continental breakfast at 9:45 in the John Boggs Hall, Morning service at 11am in the church, special luncheon following and a musical program at 2pm featuring “The Old Home Day Singers” and Luther McDonald.
The church seeking God’s face together, meets 2-3 pm on Sundays, and 4-5 pm on Tuesdays each week in the church building.
Corporate Prayer means at least 2 or 3 of us pray together. We seek to deepen our friendship with God. We pray for the macro issues of our church and community.

Port Elizabeth United Methodist Church invites all children ages 2 – 12 to experience the WORKSHOP OF WONDERS (WOW) Vacation Bible School. Discover how to imagine and build with God at VBS!
The fun begins Monday, August 4 and ends Friday, August 8 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at John Boggs Hall, 152 Port Elizabeth-Cumberland Road.
At WOW VBS, discover how the ordinary becomes extraordinary with God. Experience the love of Jesus. Start an adventure. Use your imagination and creativity to build your faith. Meet people from the Bible who used what they had to produce something amazing with God. Use your heart, mind, and imagination to participate in the creative life of God, the one who works wonders!
The adventures include interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games, and tasty food. To be a part of all the excitement at WORKSHOP OF WONDERS, come to the John Boggs Hall at 5:45 pm on Monday, August 4.

Slight change in plans for Second Sunday Luncheon this month. It’s going to be on First Sunday this month, after church.
We’re going to the Cape May Zoo the day before Second Sunday. We also have some guests coming to visit on First Sunday.
